Visit from Grandpa and Grandma

My dad and mom came up this past week and a half to help us out and to visit with Kaley of course! We are *so* very thankful and blessed for the family that we have. I am thankful that we can have visits that we actually look forward to and have fun together.

Dad and mom had a lot of fun with Kaley and Baracus. Their days consisted of hour long walks that ended up at the park and countless walks up and down the sidewalk. They also were ready to help out with any projects that we had lined up and ready to go. Dad played many games with Kaley, fixed our screen doors so that little fingers and feet wouldn't put a hole through them, oiled our door hinges, tuned up my bike for the summer and helped out with the redecorating that mom and I did. Mom took on the role of Kaley's "personal assistant" for the week and got roped into all of the things that interested her!

Mark outdid himself again by creating these amazing meals that were far better than any restaurant in town. We waited patiently for our deck to be done and by the end of the week it was finished. We have enjoyed it very much and found it to be the best spot in the early morning for coffee and quiet time:)

Thanks dad and mom for a great visit, all the more memories to enjoy!
