Kaley's beloved chair has finally been put to rest permanently sadly enough. The chair has been broken beyond repair but has been loved thoroughly!
The story is pretty funny though. It all started when my aunt Janet's neighbor was getting rid of a few things that she had from a hobby that she did and one of these things were these two little chairs that were meant to be used for display items. Well, Janet took them and asked my mom if Olivia and Kaley would like them. My mom took them, painted them white and added their names on them and gave them to both Olivia and Kaley.
Kaley latched onto her little chair right away. At that time, she was about 8 months so she could just fit on it herself. When she wasn't sitting on it, she used it for her Jesus bear to sit on and other stuffed animals. While it could hold an 8 month old okay, as this 8 month old grew, it became not just a chair, but a step stool, a toy to drag behind her, and many other things.
We had to repair it many times with glue and eventually screws, but when the wooden dowel rod broke the other day, it couldn't be repaired anymore! It has provided hours of fun and creativity for Kaley and now comes the job of finding a new one!
The beloved chair through the years...
